There are a lot of architecture in the world is awesome. One is the city that stands on the cliff. A place like this inviting sensation for tourists visiting. A place that allows us to see the sights much on the horizon, or see everything small so far beneath our feet.
1. Castellfollit de la Roca
Castellfollit de la Roca considered one of the most picturesque villages in the region of Catalonia in Spain. The village is built on a basalt cliff between two rivers. Most of the buildings seem to float on the edge of the cliff, giving the illusion that these homes could fall down at any time.
The oldest part of the village was built in the Middle Ages, made up of narrow streets and dark corners. The houses here are made of volcanic rock.
2. Rocamadour
Rocamadour is a small village built on Alzou River canyon in southwestern France. Buildings in Rocamadour mengundak gradually up the side of a cliff. The village was built in the 12th century it became deserted by the war and the French Revolution.
Currently popular Rocamadour again by tourists and pilgrims who came to honor the Santo Amadour. According to legend, the holy man witnessed the death of St. Peter and St. Paul in Rome. He then traveled to this location and became a hermit.
3. Bonifacio
Bonifacio is a city located in the southern tip of the island of Corsica.

4. Acapulco

5. Mesa Verde
Mesa Verde is located in southwestern Colorado, and are known for cliff dwellings of the ancient Anasazi. Mesa Verde is the most significant archaeological discoveries of Native American culture in the United States.
In the 12th century, the Anasazi began building houses in shallow caves
under the cliffs that hang over it along the canyon wall. The house's most famous here called Cliff Palace and Spruce Tree House.
In 1300, all of the Anasazi had left the Mesa Verde area, but the ruins of the houses are still preserved almost perfectly. The reason for their departure they suddenly unexplained. But there are theories that suppose that it is caused due to crop failure during drought hit. Other theories mention due to the attacks of other tribes from the North.
6. Bandiagara
Bandiagara are a sandstone cliff located in Dogon, Mali. Bandiagara is almost as tall as 500 meters from the sandy plains below.
The cliffs here are many ancient cave dwelling Tellem people.
This Tellem people sculpt their caves in the cliffs is that when they
die, they can be buried high above the flooding that often occurs in
this area. They also built dozens of villages along the cliffs above the caves this.
In the 14th century, people chase people Dogon Tellem and they occupied this area until now.
7. Patrolling
Ronda is located in the province of Malaga in Spain. Ronda is located in the mountains at an altitude of 760 meters. The city is divided in two by the river that flows through Ronda Guadalevin. Mountains, and is located in the west of the city Manakhah, Yemen. The city is one of the cities most impressive mountains and most easily accessible in Yemen. The city is actually built with blocks of stone taken from the quarry in the nearby mountains. Al Hajjara sendir from the twelfth century.
9. Positano
Positano is a small town located on the Amalfi Coast in Compania and is one of the most popular attractions in Italy. The city is spread over a cliff looks from top to bottom toward the coast.

In the 20th century, the city was transformed from a poor fishing
village into a tourist destination that is very popular thanks to the
author John Steinbeck who praised its beauty.
10. Santorini
Santorini is a volcanic island in the cluster of islands in the Cyclades, Greece. The island is famous for its beautiful scenery, stunning sunsets, white houses clean, and active volcanoes. In this island there is a town Oia on the cliffs as high as 400 meters.
